Visual Components was founded in 1999 by a team of simulation experts from Deneb Robotics (now Delmia).The initial product offering was a simple-to-use 3DVideo player. 3DVideo was soon joined by 3DRealize an easy presentation tool. 3DCreate was released in 2004, it is a simulation development environment for developing new model libraries and applications.

Today, Visual Components has a growing reseller network servicing diverse industrial markets and OEM partners in Europe, Australasia, Asia and North America.
