Stäubli Technology Days 2010 to feature live demonstrations of textile, connectors, and robotics technology for a variety of industrial applications
Duncan, SC. – On September 23 & 24, 2010, Stäubli Corporation will host Technology Days at the North American Headquarters in Duncan, SC in celebration of 30 years in the upstate.

Technology Days 2010 is a showcase for many of Stäubli’s latest innovations – more than any other event of its kind. Presentations and exhibits from a variety of Stäubli business units will also be featured. Here’s a glimpse:
Textile Division: Jacquard and Delta machines, with demonstrations of state-of-the art weaving and weaving preparation.
Connectors Division: A variety of multi coupling plates, electromagnetic quick mold change systems, robotic tool changers, refueling systems for natural gas vehicles and mono couplings for nuclear and military applications. In addition, there will be a Jankel J8 military Jeep and several racecars, including a NASCAR stock car, Ferrari GT and Volkswagen TDI - all of which utilize Stäubli connector technology.
Multi-Contact: Production facility tour for the manufacturing of solar cable assembly systems. Display of a live robotic demo for solar junction box assembly, which features plastics molding, vision inspection, sealant dispensing, soldering and final assembly processes. A full range of industrial electrical connectors will also be featured.
Robotics Division: Live demos on applications for a variety of industries including solar, life sciences, food and semiconductors to name a few. We will also have specialized robots capable of vapor hydrogen peroxide sterilization and vision-guided tracking.
Of course, Stäubli technology experts from all over the world are on hand to answer your questions and help you make the most of this exciting event as you tour the 100,000 square foot facility which was recently expanded for the production of cable connector systems for the solar industry, robotic tool changers for the automotive industry, and electromagnetic quick mold change systems for the plastics industry.
