ACE Adds Water Jet and Sheet Metal Fabrication

Painted Post, NY - ACE is pleased to announce their new water jet and sheet metal fabrication capability!
Earlier this year ACE installed an OMAX water jet cutting machine. “The water jet has been an excellent investment” says Jim Morris, President. “We have been amazed at the accuracy of the OMAX as well as its flexibility”.
The OMAX water jet is designed to cut an array of materials and thicknesses, from stone, metal, plastic, glass, rubber, ceramics and composites. The following dimensions are based on cutting a material that is less than 1 inch.
X-Y Travel: 50” x 50” (cutting area)
Table Size: 80” x 65”
Maximum Support Material Load: 250 lbs/sq. ft
Accuracy of Motion at 70oF:
Repeatability: ±0.002” (±0.051 mm)
Squareness: 0.002” per ft (0.17 mm/m)
Straightness: 0.003” per ft (0.25 mm/m)
ACE has cut up to 5” thick material.
ACE’s Shear is a 6 ft. bed and has the ability to shear up to ¼ inch.
ACE’s Brake is a 60 ton, 6 ft. bed.
