Salvalaggio to Lead Group to Expand Engineering and Consulting Services into Non-Automotive Markets

Orion, Michigan — Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT), a leading supplier of factory automation design, engineering and process consulting services today announced the appointment of Craig Salvalaggio as the company’s new Engineering Manager for its General Industries Group. Mr. Salvalaggio’s charter is to expand Craig SalvalaggioAMT’s engineering and consulting services into the company’s multiple non-automotive industries they support including aerospace, alternate energy, chemicals, food, fabricated metals and many more. Reporting to the President and CEO Michael Jacobs, Mr. Salvalaggio's responsibilities will include business development and all facets of operations for the General Industry Group.

Mr. Salvalaggio previously held key management and leadership roles at AMT including engineering group leader, project manager and robotics engineer.  He graduated from Lake Superior State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and completed graduate studies at Kettering University where he earned a MS in Operations Management and an MBA.
