Lincoln Electric Introduces Mobiflex® 200-M and 400-MS Mobile Welding Fume Extractors with Filtration

Lincoln Electric, Automation Division

Ideal for Smaller Manufacturing Facilities Due to Small Size and Mobility

Cleveland – Lincoln Electric has introduced the Mobiflex® 200-M and 400-MS, low-vacuum systems designed for welding fume extraction and filtration. Both units are ideal for smaller manufacturing facilities that require light to medium duty fume extraction in various locations.
Mobiflex® 400-MS
The Mobiflex 200-M and 400-MS provide a generous airflow of 735 cubic feet per minute (CFM) with either a Lincoln LFA 3.1 or LFA 4.1 extraction arm installed and operate at a low noise level of 69 dBA. Both fume extractors feature front casters and rear wheels for mobility.

Two types of main filter are available: cellulose or high efficiency cellulose/polyester. The cellulose/polyester type is ideal for stainless steel or high alloy welding applications. Each unit’s internal spark arrestor also functions as a pre-filter for larger-sized particles.

The Mobiflex 200-M model has a filter status indicator, which gives users a visual guide to the remaining filter life. Filter maintenance in the Mobiflex 400-MS is simplified by a self-cleaning system. The cleaning system is activated automatically or can be manually started by a switch on the unit’s front control panel.

For more information on the Mobiflex 200-M and 400-MS, request brochure E13.12 by calling Lincoln Electric at (888) 355-3213 or visiting www.lincolnelectric.com. The operation of welding fume control equipment is affected by various factors including proper use and positioning of the equipment, maintenance of the equipment and the specific welding procedure and application involved. Worker exposure level should be checked upon installation and periodically thereafter to be certain it is within applicable permissible exposure limits (PEL) and American Conference of Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) Threshold Limit Values (TLV).

The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc welding systems, fume extraction equipment and plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment. The company holds a leading global position in the brazing and soldering alloys market.
