Lincoln Electric to Offer Magnum® Pro Robotic Guns Promotion at IMTS 2012
Lincoln Electric, Automation Division Posted 08/17/2012
Cleveland – Lincoln Electric will give away a Magnum® PRO Robotic 550 External Dress Welding Gun and a Magnum® PRO Robotic 550 Thru-Arm Welding Gun (robotic arm, power source and wire feeder are not included) every day at this year’s International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). Two winners will be drawn daily between Sept. 10 and 15.Magnum® PRO guns combine a robust design with expendable parts that are interchangeable across the entire Magnum® PRO line. The Lincoln Copper Plus™ contact tips have more copper than the leading competition for better heat dissipation, resulting in a longer tip life. The Anti-Seize™ tip and diffuser threads with the flattened thread profile increase the thread cross-section where heat typically concentrates and tips fail. This results in reduced melting, fusion, seizing and extended contact tip service.
Both guns feature:
- Single tool center point (TCP) – Changing between 350 amperage and 550 amperage expendables does not alter the robot TCP.
- Simplified expendable parts selection – 350 amperage and 550 amperage rated consumables are interchangeable across all Magnum® PRO gun models.
- HexConnect™ gun bushing – Ensures better electrical conductivity through full face contact, as opposed to rotating connections that have a single-line contact.
- Robust Cable Design – Cables exceed industry standards by a factor of two in durability testing.
