RMT Robotics Announces Sale of Robotic Green Tire Handling System

GRIMSBY, Ontario, Canada – RMT Robotics®, a Cimcorp Oy company and the manufacturer and integrator of ADAM™ intelligent mobile robots (www.adamrobot.com), is pleased to announce the sale of a robotic green tire handling and press delivery system to a major global tire manufacturer. The equipment will be implemented at the customer’s production facility in the U.S. and will be installed and operational by the end of 2012.

Designed to handle full plant capacity, the system will orchestrate the functionality of an integrated conveyor network, multiple robotic gantry robots and more than two dozen ADAM AMR vehicles to automatically move green truck and bus radial (TBR) tires through the manufacturing process.
