SAS Automation Introduces Machine-mounted Heated Cutter

SAS Automation, a leading robotic End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) manufacturer and supplier recently introduced a new Machine-mounted Heated Nipper.

Significant Features:

Standard nipper configuration – with machine mounting holes

Interchangeable blades – with heating coils

Variable temperature control with digital readout for fine tune adjustment

Automatic thermostat for consistency

Heated nippers are ideal for cutting difficult, brittle material, such as polycarbonate or glass filled nylon.
 

This machine mounted version will allow for better process control for consistency and throughput in many applications.

According to Rob Dalton, General Manager for SAS Automation, “We continue to bring to the plastics market more efficiency tools to handle the toughest jobs, with ease. This new machine-mounted heated cutter is part of our 2012 efficiency tool introductions specifically for the plastics industry.”
