Stäubli Robotics Announces New Food and Packaging Specialist

Robert Rochelle was recently selected to manage new business development activities within the North American food and packaging industries for Stäubli’s Robotics Division.
Mr. Rochelle brings substantial sales and technical expertise to the position. Chad Henry, North American Sales Manager for Stäubli Robotics remarked, "We are very excited to add Bob to the Stäubli team. He brings over 25 years of experience in automation. We believe that Bob will be able to use this knowledge to generate new business opportunities and gain market share in the food and packaging industries."
Previously Mr. Rochelle worked for Kawasaki Robotics for over a decade, being promoted from Account Manager to Sales Manager and later to North American Sales Manager. Earlier he held positions in sales, engineering and project management as well as new product development, and also taught college-level engineering, robotics and project management. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a BS in Agricultural Engineering from Virginia Tech.
The food and packaging industries have long benefited from Stäubli’s robotic solutions, from upstream processing and sorting to packing and palletization. The Robotics Division will be exhibiting at this year’s Pack Expo, North America's largest packaging and processing show, in Las Vegas, September 26-28.
