Stäubli Robotics Introduces its Latest Solution for Innovation in Painting Automation

Stäubli Robotics

DUNCAN, SC - Stäubli robotics announces the introduction of a new innovative painting robot characterized by unrivalled process control with minimal paint consumption and fast color changes.  The fast, slender TX250 paint robot also features a reach of 2.5 meters and is capable of high precision trajectories.

“The new TX250 paint is the ideal multi-purpose painting robot which is able to handle a wide range of applications in the automotive industry as well as the general industry.  Thanks to the PaintiXen software package the robot is very simple to program, allowing professionals as well as newcomers to appreciate the simplified programming of the robot.  Furthermore, the TX250 paint enables users to paint faster and more efficiently even with small part batches,” said Chad Henry, Applications Engineering Manager.

Due to its high performance, the TX250 paint will be the first choice for a variety of applications – from painting of automotive bumpers, electronic equipment, metal parts, plastics and wood products just to name a few.  The performance of this brand-new six-axis robot is very impressive with a reach of 2547.5 mm and an incredible speed of 1.5 meters/second.  The CS8C controller is also factory network compatible, allowing the robot to be extremely dynamic and flexible while utilizing very low energy consumption.

The new painting robot is also equipped with a hollow wrist which ensures the internal protection of the paint equipment within the forearm.  This feature protects and eliminates the possibility of the product being contaminated unlike other painting systems which mount all cabling and equipment on the exterior of the arm.  The TX250 paint also allows for fast color and catalyst changes and can be either floor or ceiling mounted for greater work cell flexibility.

As automation continues to be implemented across all industrial sectors, Stäubli is committed to providing superior quality, precision and reliability to ensure the best competitive advantage.
