Staubli Introduces the new Paintixen Painting Software
Stäubli Robotics Posted 02/17/2009
Duncan, SC – Stäubli’s new PaintiXen Advanced Control Software takes your paint solution to the next level. This innovative new software package is designed to simplify the use and programming of the applications of conventional or electrostatic powder and liquid paints.
PaintiXen uses professional terminology along with built in scenario and event programmability to help make a fast job of optimizing paint trajectories. Electrostatic charge, atomization air, jet width, and product pressure are piloted through plug and play analog inputs/outputs whose values are taken into account via the presets.
The power to quickly create custom call routines for your specific application needs as well as the ability to integrate with digital I/O, ModBus, or Devicenet, are just a few of the open functionalities of PaintiXen. Others include flow control, overspray management, and a swing function which can all be used to obtain optimum paint quality.
With PaintiXen, spraying the most irregular surfaces are made quick and simple by only teaching a few points. PaintiXen also integrates perfectly in the Staubli Robotics software studio (VAL 3 Studio, Remote Maintenance, and PLC Studio). Come see a demonstration of the many Staubli software platforms along with the latest advances in automation at the AMEXPO at the CharlotteConvention Center, Charlotte, NC, March 11-12, 2009.
