Yaskawa Motoman Mexico Completes Expansion of Aguascalientes Facility
Yaskawa Motoman Posted 12/02/2009Dayton, Ohio — Yaskawa Motoman Mexico (YMM), celebrating its fifteenth anniversary, recently completed an expansion of its facility in Aguascalientes. This expansion more than doubles the size of YMM’s Aguascalientes facility to nearly 20,000 sq. ft.
The expansion includes additional manufacturing space used to develop, integrate, service and rebuild robotic systems. A 15-person training classroom that can be easily divided into two separate classrooms was added, along with additional office space, conference rooms and a lunchroom. YMM operates under the direction of Fernando Cisneros, Director of Mexico Operations.
“People who have seen this expansion are surprised that Motoman has taken such a step during the current economic climate,” said Cisneros, “but it will enable us to have new value-added services developed and delivered to our customers. It is a great testament to the strength of our company, as well as the determination of Motoman to maintain and improve our place in Mexico’s robotic industry. I have no doubt that this addition will help us to grow as a company with international presence.”
