Fume Extraction Hood Solutions for Robotic and Hard Automation Systems

Lincoln Electric, Automation Division

Fume Extraction Hoods from Lincoln ElectricLincoln Electric Automation has introduced fume extraction hood solutions for automated systems, including all Lincoln Electric Automation pre-engineered cells, from the compact eCell™ LR and to the customizable System 55.

These fume extraction hoods offer users a lightweight fume removal solution featuring easy installation. The robust Statiflex® Filter Bank filtration system offers MERV 16 rated filters, automated filter cleaning and quick-connect duct work. The system also includes the fan and control components.

Assembly and installation activities are minimal, as the hood itself is shipped as a complete unit and the duct work snaps together to connect to the filter system. Floor space is conserved because the fan mounts directly to the Statiflex® Filter Bank.

Hoods can be ordered and sized appropriately for nearly any application, including custom cell designs or non-Lincoln Electric automated systems.

Optional features offered on the extraction and modular hoods include interior lighting as shown and preventative maintenance contracts through the Lincoln Electric Automation service team.

“Lincoln Electric Automation is committed to building a complete fume extraction product offering. By integrating the fume extraction hoods into our cell designs, we can supply our customers with total solutions for all of their automated welding and manufacturing needs,” said Deanna Postlethwaite, product manager, Lincoln Electric Automation.

Lincoln Electric E10.295 Robotic Extraction Hood literature is available online for viewing, downloading or mailing to your door.

The operation of welding fume control equipment is affected by various factors including proper use and positioning of the equipment, maintenance of the equipment and the specific welding procedure and application involved. Worker exposure level should be checked upon installation and periodically thereafter to be certain it is within applicable OSHA PEL and ACGIH TLV limits.
