Stäubli Corporation Makes Executive Announcements

Stäubli Corporation, a leading manufacturer of industrial robots, quick disconnects for fluids, gases and electrical connection systems and textile machinery has announced the appointment of Mr. Joe Gemma as the CEO of the North American operations for Staubli International.
Joe Gemma started his career in the Nuclear Industry as a project engineer in the early 1980's. He moved to a position as project manager for the automation company, Advanced Technology Systems in 1985. He held several positions there, including Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
He accepted his first position with Staubli in 1997 as a Regional Sales Manager. Joe Gemma also spent time at Stäubli’s manufacturing and engineering center in Faverges, France as the Manager of New Business Development. Upon his return to the US in 2004, he took on the responsibility of National Sales Manager for the Robotics Division and was later promoted to North American Division Manager for Robotics. Joe Gemma is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Robotics Industry Association and also serves as Membership Committee Chairman.
