The CAT2 Torch Mount is a three dimensional active safety coupling which is used for the protection of a welding torch or handling device attached to a robot.
When the CAT2 is connected to the E-stop circuit of the robot, any collision activates a safety cut-off-switch. The large 3D deviation field provides a high margin of safety for both the robot and the attached welding torch tool.
The wide range of accessories, including extension arms and various forms of tool holders allow the user to quickly construct the desired tool center point (TCP).
The CAT2 is easily adapted to the weight to be carried, and is available with standard strength (M) springs and (L) types.
