KUKA shelf-mounted robots now cover a remarkable range of payloads - from 30 to 210 kg. Thus these six-axis machines can be used to implement integrated automation concepts in combination with machine tools and injection molding and die casting machines, holding pressure ranges up to 3,000 tons and reach of up to 3500 mm. This means that KUKA shelf-mounted robots can now tackle many tasks which previously were the sole preserve of linear feed systems.
