Visual DCI® is an advanced robot controller communications software package. It is used to transfer programs and robot variables between the PC and the robot controller. The Variable Editor and OLE Automation Interface allow the user to modify robot variables “on-the-fly” and control Visual DCI from their own custom software applications. Using Visual DCI a program structure can be written to communicate with a PC and implement a backup, a job change, an automated job selection, etc.
