Metric Safety Mats Available in Over 100 Standard Sizes

FREMONT, CA – Omron Scientific Technologies, Inc. introduces Metric Mat Series Pressure-Sensitive Safety Mats. Because they are available in more than 100 standard sizes with four different configurations, the need for "specials" is reduced, saving time and money for the user. Custom solutions are available for unique, non-standard application requirements.
Metric Mats are available in widths from 300mm (11.8") to 1200mm (47.2"), and lengths from 250mm (9.84") to 1800mm (70.9"). They are available in black and yellow, with five and 10 meter cables. Standard trim kits for single mat installations are available with molded or mitered corners. Customized trim for user-specific requirements is available for multiple mat applications. Trim is also available in bulk for job site machining and fitting.
These rugged and reliable safety mats provide a control reliable guarding solution in robotic applications. They are also ideally suited to perimeter guarding applications that require ease-of-access, while safeguarding the personnel operating the equipment.
