The PSS 3000 allows the complete control, both fail-safe and standard, to be implemented in one system. The system requires less space, and less wiring than conventional PLC-relay setups. Three diverse processors provide triple-voting redundancy and high speed information processing. Complete self-diagnostics simplify error searching, allow shorter downtimes and require no additional testing on the system. The integral standard section gives the user flexibility to carry out non-safety functions without influencing the fail-safe section.
