Due to the application of state-of-the art technologies for parts preparation and recognition, such as high-resolution image processing systems, more and more applications can be accomplished for conveying and handling of components.
Many demands have to be fulfilled by the gripper system and the applied sensors.
Since the parts to be handled may differ greatly in material and surface geometry and often offer only a very limited surface for safe gripping and holding, a complex gripper system may be required. Its design requires special knowledge and experience for the solution of a special handling task.
