TOUGH GUN Anti-Spatter Sprayer/TOUGH GARD Anti-Spatter Multi-Feed System

To help companies minimize spatter build- up and reduce the associated downtime for post-weld cleaning and grinding in robotic welding applications, Tregaskiss offers its TOUGH GUN™ Anti-Spatter Sprayer and TOUGH GARD™ Anti-Spatter Multi-Feed System. Both are usable with the company’s TOUGH GARD Anti-Spatter Liquid, which is designed to create a barrier around the robotic MIG gun nozzle when exposed to the heat of welding. Spatter sticks to this barrier and breaks away, leaving the consumables clean and helping them last longer. As a result, welding operators can minimize downtime for routine maintenance and consumable changeover.

The TOUGH GUN Anti-Spatter Sprayer is essentially maintenance free due to its efficient design that limits the amount of moving parts, and it can be combined with the Tregaskiss™ TOUGH GUN Reamer. Its piloted valve ensures the fluid line is always primed and ready for use. To protect against the abuse of harsh robotic welding environments, the TOUGH GUN Anti-Spatter Sprayer features a sturdy reservoir made of clear, high-impact polycarbonate, along with main components machined from brass and aluminum to prevent corrosion.

For higher volume welding applications, the TOUGH GARD Anti-Spatter Multi-Feed System can feed up to 10 nozzle cleaning stations from a single 5- or 55-gallon drum of TOUGH GARD Anti-Spatter Liquid. By locating the drums outside of the robotic weld cell, the system eliminates the need to enter the cell for changeover. The system also quickly and easily connects to the nozzle cleaning stations, and because it provides one feeding source it requires less floor space. It includes a reusable cap assembly for pails and drums, along with a fluid-level indicator that displays when the pail or drum requires replacement.
