Spatial Vision® Inspection software from Universal Robotics® provides multi-dimensional inspection of random objects. The software is capable of integrating with any sensor appropriate for the job, such as Kinect sensors, USB or GigE cameras, structured light sensors, time of flight sensors, and/or lasers. It does it fast – with complete image capture from 1” to 4 ft in 0.4 seconds – 10X faster than most 3D approaches, with up to 1/20th of pixel accuracy. Spatial Vision Inspection connects and calibrates sensors and cameras, generates a spatial image, and analyzes the results, and can be combined with 3D vision guidance for machine control. Spatial Vision Inspection modular software contains interface communication, sensor calibration, 2D & 3D inspection, and 2D & 3D image processing modules. It can provide 3D object recognition of objects as well as read and identify elements such as barcodes, labels, logos, shapes, surfaces, and patterns in varying locations for real-time qualitative and quantitative inspection.
