Hello, could you please tell me if a standard or principles exist concerning the calibration and the transfer of points from robots?

Robot Calibration differs between robot brands, but they all should have a standard procedure for doing so. There are different ways of getting better accuracy when calibrating a robot. My company -Design for making typically use fanuc robots which have an ircalibration option that uses vision to calibrate the robots joints, which has proven to be very accurate and repeatable. Most companies will just use witness marks on the joints to get the robot close enough to its accurate configuration.
