Marble Instrumental in Architecture and Design of Wynsoft™ Software
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. – Wynright Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daifuku Webb and a leading U.S.-based provider of intelligent material handling systems, today promoted Randy Marble to Vice President of Software Solutions from Director.
In his new position, Marble will continue to lead the visionary and design efforts for Wynright’s Warehouse Execution Software Suite, which combines a traditional warehouse management solution while integrating material handling equipment through Wynsoft’s™ Warehouse Control System (WCS) modules.
Wynsoft is the first modular, layered software solution to bridge the gap effectively between a WCS designed to direct real-time activities in the warehouse or distribution center (DC), and warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems that control overall operations.
“As Wynright expands its investment in material handling ingenuity, we require leaders like Randy who can anticipate market needs and fulfill customer requirements,” said Kevin Ambrose, President and CEO of Wynright. “Randy has been instrumental in helping Wynright’s customers adapt to the changing supply chain landscape, so we look forward to his leadership fulfilling our software roadmaps, business objectives and his new responsibilities.”
Among them, Marble will drive Wynright’s initiatives around business intelligence, scorecarding and alerting by driving raw data into actionable results.
Marble brings more than two decades of experience launching supply chain software products. Before joining Wynright in 2012, he served as CEO of Dallas-based Blue Sky Technologies, a provider of web-based business intelligence software for the supply chain. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Product Development and Retail Solutions for Dallas Systems Corporation.
Marble is a graduate of Central State University in Edmond, Okla., where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
