SAS Automation Expands Gripper Components with ‘Blue Line’ Series
Piab, Robotic Gripping
SAS Automation, the leader in superior robotic End-of-Arm tooling (EOAT) and automation technology, has expanded its gripper components product line. The ‘Blue Line’ series has now grown with even more sizes and types, which are more compact and higher power than before.
The ‘Blue Line’ series now includes more:
- Sizes and types of pneumatic gripping fingers and pliers
- Gripper and clamping power in a compact size
- Senor options, including compatibility with readily available off-the-shelf brands
- Assembly and mounting options
Blue Line highlights include the GRF 14-35 and GRF 14-90 Gripper Finger, which are additional versions of the smaller industry first mini GRF 14-95 Gripper Finger. The GRZ 10-10 D Sprue Cutter is a new, innovative very small and compact sprue cutter, and is currently the smallest on the market. Also, the GRZ 20-22 G-STC Gripper Plier is a smaller compact version of the original high-powered GRZ 20-22 Gripper Plier, which SAS introduced in 2009. This new version features a high power gripper force in a very light weight design with aluminum housing body and jaws. It includes several mounting options, and a fully updated sensor jaw, which accepts readily available off-the-shelf sensor brands.
