SICK Announces Free Automation Solutions Forum in Detroit

The forum includes free seminars designed to help attendees reduce costs, increase productivity and enhance safety. This event includes featured guest speaker Jeff Fryman, director of standards development for the Robotics Industry Association (RIA). He will be providing insight into the new RIA safety standards for Industrial Robots and Robotics Systems, which are set to harmonize with the international standards ISO 10218 and ISO 13849. Join SICK product experts at the Marriott Auburn Hills hotel to participate in hands-on product demonstrations as well as in-depth application and technology information seminars.

SICK Solutions Forums are scheduled throughout the year in key location across the U.S. and in Canada. At each SICK Solutions Forum attendees can select up to six out of nearly 20 hour-long seminars, including topics such as “Six Steps to a Safe Machine,” “Camera vs. Laser Technology for Bar Code Applications,” and “Clearly Better Packaging Solutions.” These free seminars cover a wide range of industries and applications.
