Nathaniel is the Chief Technology Officer for Cybersecurity Testing & Certification for TUV Rheinland and North America practice manager for testing services. As part of his role, he has started advocating and speaking about how security can and should be implemented within different industries, including manufacturing automation and robotics. As an offensive security practitioner, he has led efforts and provided leadership in testing devices, including robotic systems in an effort to show how insecure systems can impact the usability, integrity, and safety of the systems. As part of this, he has leveraged his 15+ years of security experience to provide actionable recommendations to remediation or mitigate the risk posed by vulnerabilities or insecure systems. Over his two years within TUV Rheinland, Nathaniel has collaborated during with creation of TUV Rheinlands Global Industrial Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As part of this, he has provided methodologies and processes for testing industrial devices, systems and operational technology.
