Eastern Washington / Eastern Oregon Consulting Partner for robotics and industrial automation (Industry 4.0) manufacturing partnership

Territory will include all of the Eastern Washington and Oregon and northern Idaho:  east of the Cascade Mountains, north to Canadian border, south to California and Nevada border and east to and including Boise, Idaho and Kalispell, MT.  This is a customer-facing position with a minimum of 50% of time in front of customers and prospects throughout region.  Software development skills are billable and payable at 75% of billed customer rate.  Compensation is generous 100% commission on a contracted basis; partnership equity is negotiable;  Health and Dental sharing plans will be made available in lieu of insurance;  Travel and Entertainment expenses are covered by contractor; Training, Demo and Meeting expenses are covered by company

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Prospect for new and followup with existing manufacturing automation clients.  Learn customer KPIs.  Support MES LEAN manufacturing programs by developing an understanding of client manufacturing processes and opportunities to increase production, improve quality and decrease unit cost.  Supervise projects implemented by field service team.

Minimum Skills & Abilities

Must be comfortable with PLCs, motion control, computers and programming.  Knowledge and skill in JavaScript, Python, Java, C++ and C# is helpful, but not required.  We sell, develop and support Tulip Interface and Inductive Automation software.  Robotics and CNC programming is a plus.

Minimum Education & Experience

Minimum 2 year vocational school degree in automation and robotics or 10+ years experience in plant automation.
