Description

Due to our explosive growth we are seeking a highly motivated Director of Product Marketing. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this product marketer is responsible for defining the go-to-market strategy and execution of Vecna Robotics’ product and solution offerings. This is a highly visible role and presents the opportunity to be the business driver of a large, fast growing, and strategic business at Vecna Robotics.

Specifically, this person will help create and execute against full lifecycle GTM programs that include pipeline, sales, and retention management. This leader will develop compelling and inventive programs backed by great and differentiated content, messaging, enablement and campaign strategy - and will lead successful execution through our marketing, sales, and solutions organizations. This is a full-time, salaried role.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with product teams to align product capabilities to value drivers.
  • Dive deep into positioning, value statements, target customer definition, core message development, and sales training.
  • Lead competitive and market intelligence.
  • Develop sales tools and presentations to accelerate pipeline and improve close rates.
  • Create and update buyer personas as a guide for developing relevant content and market perspectives.
  • Develop customer-facing sales and marketing collateral that supports go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and thought leadership in order to enable success with global enterprise customers and the channel.
  • Own all facets of product launch, from strategy, pricing & packaging and marketing collateral.
  • Develop accurate, relevant and high-resonance messaging, and partner with internal teams to ensure implementation across all customer channels.
  • Execute GTM programs that drive growth for Vecna Robotics in the enterprise and channel, including strategies for upselling, cross-selling, migration, and penetration.
  • Drive technology thought leadership initiatives in conjunction with internal marketing, PR, content marketing, social, event, and sales teams to win C-suite and practitioner mindshare. Collaborate with product management teams to influence the product roadmap.
  • Proactively collaborate on marketing programs with content marketing, public relations, events, demand generation, and event marketing that build up pipeline demands, accelerate deals, and enable awareness at product launch and beyond.
  • Evangelize the value proposition to internal stakeholders and communicate the value proposition to the Sales teams.
  • Serve as a product specialist within the company and go to on customer sales calls/demos.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • BA in Business, or a BS in engineering or computer science.
  • 8+ years of relevant software or technical product management or product marketing experience; B2B software, SaaS, or technology company
  • Knowledge of supply chain, robotics, manufacturing and/or retail industries, particularly WMS, MES or IoT systems, and business processes is preferred.
  • Public speaking and analyst experience desired.
  • Comfortable presenting strategies, plans, and proposals at the executive level.
  • Sales enablement and executive presentation skills preferred.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills with writing samples are a must.
  • Passionate self-starter and personal time/project management are a must.
  • Self-starter who is hungry to take on new professional challenges and looking for roles with enormous growth potential
  • Comfort working in a fast moving, dynamic setting. You pick up things quickly and are action oriented. Startup experience a real plus.
  • Work directly with product teams to align product capabilities to value drivers.
  • Manage complex, cross-functional, high-value projects - sometimes with ambiguity - from start to finish.
  • Inform product strategy with thorough research and detailed strategies.
