Description

You are responsible for establishing the sales targets to meet the company objectives and for developing
strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for
the organization.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

These responsibilities await you
• Develop a sales structure and management for maximum sales growth and productivity
• Build and manage the inside and outside sales team
• Develop a distributor network
• Assist customers with problem solving and project management
• Present and represent the company in a professional manner (e.g. sales events, trade shows etc.)
• Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, and suitable market strategies
• Collaborate with design and sales teams in USA and Germany to ensure that requirements are met
• Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
• Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers
• Lead American sales activities in alignment with head of global sales in Germany
• Submit sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals

• Technical background or experience required
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Leadership skills
• Strong negotiation and great networking skills
• Ability to build long-term relationships with customers
• Previous experience working in, or closely with, sales and marketing teams and understanding the way the
organizations need to work together to drive revenue
• The ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels
 

Minimum Education & Experience

Business-related bachelor’s degree/ MBA preferred but not required

Technical background or experience required
