Jeff Pratt has been active in the area of EH&S for 26 years, and is passionate about preventing injuries. Jeff currently holds the position of Sr. Corporate Safety & Environmental Engineer at Crown Equipment Corporation, where he has worked since 2008. He is responsible for the development of Crown’s Global EHS programs. Over the years, Jeff has proven to be not only a safety expert in his own right, conducting numerous robot and other risk assessments in the US and Mexico, but is also an accomplished trainer and educator in the area of safety and risk reduction, authoring several safety and ergonomics articles. Jeff actively participates on the Robotic Industries Association R15.06 Risk Assessment committee, and is the Vice Chair of the RIA 15.08 Committee tasked with developing safety standards for Mobile Robots. Prior to joining Crown, Jeff worked for 20 years at Gold Shield of Indiana (now Goldshield Fiberglass) in positions of steadily increasing EHS responsibility. Jeff holds two college degrees; a B.S. degree in Business Administration / HR from Indiana Institute of Technology, as well as an Associate’s degree in Technical Studies from Wright State University (Microcomputers / Management & Design Engineering).
Jeff is also very active in youth sports. He is the president of Van Wert Youth Football, and head coach of the Van Wert Grizzlies!
