HC20XP Collaborative Robot
Yaskawa America, Inc.Updated 03/26/2020
Ideal for a variety of tasks, the robust six-axis HC20XP collaborative robot provides precise hand-guided teaching for fast implementation of a robot system. Offering four modes of collaborative operation such as Power and Force Limiting (PFL) technology, the HC20XP meets established safety standards, enabling humans to work with or in close placement to robots. Depending on risk assessment, this cobot can operate without extra safety features, saving space and lowering cost.
The industry’s first IP67-rated collaborative robot, the HC20XP is equipped for continuous use in damp or splash-prone environments. Made of cast aluminum for durability, this model features an easy-to-clean surface, allowing utilization in sanitary environments where wipe or wash is required. NSF H1 food-grade grease is included as standard, enabling use in settings where there is a possibility of incidental food contact. A through-arm Category 6 cable facilitates a wide selection of communication options for tooling.
The HC20XP robot has a 1,700 maximum reach and ±0.05 mm repeatability. The HC20XP is compatible with the YRC1000 and YRC1000micro robot controllers.
