Today, Machine Learning Algorithms used for visual detection and recognition have evolved to a point where wide market adoption has become viable. For AMR technology, this means we can now detect and classify objects from camera data. This allows robots to more efficiently and appropriately react to different types of obstacles within the environment.
AI-powered AMRs will help turn workplaces into organic, data-driven environments, in which robots share relevant data from onboard and remote sensors to help fleets of robots make informed decisions. Combining Artificial Intelligence with Cloud Computing and the adoption of the 5G network architecture will power the next industrial revolution by fully supplanting undesirable, laborious, and dangerous tasks.
In this panel discussion get an inside look into how Vecna (a self-guided vehicle partner), MHS Global (leading material handling systems company), GE Appliances and Humatics (maker of the full-stack microlocation platform to deliver ultra-precise, robust navigation in the built environment) weigh the use case with the technology considerations to build a feasible business case on the factory and warehouse floor.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18
On Wednesday, September 18, enjoy a tour of the Material Handling Systems state of the art R&D facility for emerging technology focused on the logistics industry. The new technologies shown will demonstrate a focus on the logistics industry and latest trends moving forward.
Autonomous Robot Transport:
MHS can demonstrate multiple autonomous mobile robots performing different package delivery scenarios.
The MHS Parcel Singulator transforms a bulk flow of packages into a manageable single-file array for downstream sorting systems. The MHS Parcel Singulator operates with no manual intervention, a completely automated solution that provides 99.85% singulation accuracy.
Conveyor Shoe Sorter:
Shoe sortation provides a very soft and efficient way to divert parcels quickly. Shoe sorters can be used in applications where there is a wide variety of product sizes, shapes and weights being sorted.
MHS’s R&D Group has explored automating this task with collaborative robots. Automatic pick and place from a parcel conveyor can be demonstrated at induction points.
Sign up for the tour when registering for the conference. Participation in the tour is on a first come, first served basis and is dependent upon approval from MHS. Busing will be provided to/from the tour.
The Autonomous Mobile Robot Conference brings together users/buyers of mobile robot technologies and systems. They’re looking to deploy mobile robots for applications such as warehousing, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, inventory management, general industry, and more.
Sponsorship is a powerful way to build influence and get your message in front of key stakeholders and decision makers. A variety of options help you extend your brand presence and reach your target audience.
